It is understood that the plaintiff's attorney, an officer of the court, will submit true and accurate information by hand and electronically to the Sheriff for the purpose of conducting a real estate sheriff sale. This information will be forwarded to the designated vendor(s) to create and publish the sheriff sale handbill, newspaper & legal journal advertisement, cost sheet & settlement/distribution form(s), and the deed.
The County of Butler, the Sheriff of Butler County, ASP Platform Services, LLC or it subsidiaries and vendors makes no representations or warranties as to the suitability of this information for your particular purpose, and that to the extent you use or implement this information in your own setting, you do so at your own risk. It is understood that the sheriff sale information and documents are public information and are available to the public as listed below:
Butler County Courthouse Office of the Sheriff, Prothonotary Office, and Tax Assessment Office. By the Internet through World Wide Web using a standard Web Browser (recommended: Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or newer) and Adobe Acrobat Reader (5.0 or newer).
The Sheriff Sales are published by property address for three successive weeks prior to the sale. The sheriff sales are published in the Butler County Legal Journal, Butler Eagle, and Tribune-Review in accordance with rule 3129.2 (Notice containing the information required: a brief description of the property to be sold, its location, any improvements, the judgment of the court on which the sale is being held, the name of the owner or reputed owner, and the time and place of the sale).
